Welcome to the DA-BSWM FertMap
This public platform gives you easy access to soil analysis data gathered from different regions across
the country. By selecting your farm location, you can view the available soil data and generate
fertilizer recommendations based on the crop you intend to grow. The fertilizer recommendation report
can also be downloaded as a PDF for your reference.
To help you find the information you need quickly, the website provides filtering options by location
and soil test parameters, so only the most relevant data is displayed.
Through this initiative, the DA-BSWM makes soil information more accessible not only to farmers, but
also to researchers, academic institutions, and local government units – supporting better decisions,
research, and policies for sustainable agriculture.
Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Soils and Water Management
The Department of Agriculture–Bureau of Soils and Water Management (DA-BSWM) is the nationally
mandated agency responsible for the sustainable management of Philippine soil and water resources. In
line with this mandate, The DA-BSWM implements several banner programs that support sustainable agriculture
and aim to enhance crop productivity and farmers’ profitability.
One of these is the National Soil Health Program (NSHP), which focuses on promoting and
maintaining healthy soils through holistic and science-based approaches. The program places strong
emphasis on soil testing and the proper management of fertilizer use, ensuring that recommendations are
grounded on actual soil conditions and geared toward sustaining agricultural productivity over time.
